After a disappointingly uneventful year in 2020 due to Coronavirus restrictions, we are now more optimistic for 2021 and have some nice events booked into the calendar. As we are still currently unable to meet in person for group gatherings, we are offering some Garden Talks via Zoom over the coming weeks. These are listed on the calendar pages and we hope will be of interest. If you are not a member but would like the link to a Zoom talk, do please contact Louis Parker on parkerlouisatqm@aol.com for details. Government guidance permitting, we are also looking forward to having the opportunity to visit some local Open Gardens in the early summer months. Details of these are also in the calendar.
All meetings and visits are open to non-members for a guest fee of £5.00 + donations for refreshments. Under normal circumstances we meet in the Donhead St. Mary village hall, (unless an alternative venue or visit has been arranged) on the second Monday of every month, apart from August. Doors open at 7.15pm and meetings start at 7.30pm.
Meetings are varied and cover a wide range of garden related topics and activities including: Guest speakers sharing their knowledge and experience, and privileged visits to gardens and Garden Centres. Membership of the club also includes discounts to certain Garden Centres.
